·   Terminating routers and patch panels in head-end closets. Running all type of cat 5e, cat 6, and fiber optic cables.

·   Fusion splicing of fiber at LIU and head end in single mode multi-mode and ribbon style.

·   Installed new pvc and cpvc pipe in new residential builds.

·   Repaired all types of plumbing issues as well as sewer lines.

·   Repiped old water systems with new pvc pipe to the city tap.

August 1999-August 2003- Digicomm Communications

 

Title: Lead Tech Installer-Power Installer

·   Worked on AT&T wireless projects.

·   Ran a crew of eight.

·   Ran and terminated Cat 5 and jacks for US NAVY.

·   Installed power cabling rack management system with bracing to earthquake proof equipment. RF and Digital communication cabinets. Wire wrap of DSX panels.

·   Installed fiber optics, digital cards, and RF cards. Ran all cables and installed all components.

·   Installed all types of security systems and prewired residential homes and commercial buildings. Installed telecom bays in cell towers, central office, and co-locate offices.

·   Test alarms T1 DSX panels, RF, and digital cabinets.

·   Read and followed all specs, mops, and blueprints. Followed MOP for procedures and scope of work.

·   Ran form and sweep tested fiber jumpers Installed Panduit and bracing for fiber jumpers.

·   Installed AC/DC systems for power and laced in 550 and 750 power cable.

·   Ran multi pair cables to 66 & 110 punch down blocks and patch panels.

·   Extended power from BBU to CBB and on to racks via 26 to 50 gauge wire.

 

February 1998 to August 1999- Fujitsu

·   Built Southwestern Bell communication bays, A.C.I, GTE, Cisco, and World com bays.

·   Read blueprints and specifications, Wire wrap, sew, crimp and daily use of hand tool.
